SERVICES
Scene, Evidence and Case Analysis
A review of your case file, including photographs, evidence recovered, forensic and medical reports and statements. Following the review, an opinion is provided on the strength or weakness of the forensic evidence, and the impact it has on your case. The opinion will highlight the relevance of any particular piece of evidence which should be emphasized in Court.
Forensic Photography
Whether it be damage to property, a crime scene re-visit, injuries or damages due to an accident, having photographs from a trained and experienced Forensic professional will highlight the key aspects of any scene or subject which will greatly benefit your case, compared to shaky, blurry phone photographs which do not focus on the important details that would jump out to the trained eye.
Report Interpretation
Secure the benefit of a trained and experienced Forensic professional’s interpretation of various scientific reports pertaining to your case. This service includes a review of scientific reports and an opinion on the impact on your case. This review includes interpretation of:
- Forensic Laboratory Reports, including DNA, Toxicology, Gun Shot Residue and Ballistics
- Forensic Scene Reports produced by Crime Scene Examiners/Investigators
- Medical and Post Mortem Reports
Blood Pattern Analysis
Blood Pattern Analysis can paint a picture of the sequence of events. It can potentially point to the location of the perpetrators and the victims, the type of wounds inflicted, and the direction taken by persons in ‘moving’ scenes. A review of the intact scene on a re-visit or of photographs can be done.
Shooting Scene Reconstruction
This service involves analysis of bullet trajectories and damage, to assist in determining the likely events that took place in a shooting crime scene. Trajectory and damage analysis can potentially point to the location of the shooter and the height or stance of the shooter. If adequate data is available a diagram of the scene may be possible. A review of the intact scene or of photographs can be done.
N.B. A review of photographs may be limited in the data that can be extracted.
Forensic Wound Analysis
This service involves analysis of wounds and injuries sustained in crimes and accidents. If sufficient data is provided, this review can provide the age of injuries, the types of injuries and the possible cause of the injuries.
